I'm Ainsley. An international body positive portrait and travel photographer based in between Paris and New Zealand. I specialise in making people feel beautiful and capturing those special, natural moments that might have normally gone unseen. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, I spent four years living in Paris and could not completely give up la vie Française, so now I try to split my time between the two- summers in New Zealand and summers in Paris (though recently this hasn't quite worked as planned!) With a background in photojournalism, I approach my work with the eye of a documentary photographer and edit as a fine art photographer. This means that my shoots are fun and natural but you still end up with beautifully crafted images. I'm not into photo-sessions which are overly posed and staged, I work mainly with natural light and try my best to capture those real genuine moments. |
