I spent three days in Singapore exploring the modern and green metropolis that it is. I was completely blown away at how beautiful it was, and how it had managed to successfully combine traditional areas with modern skyscrapers and still retain a lush ecosystem within the city.
A special mention must be given to the incredible and varied cuisine which seems to combine all the best dishes across Asia. If you are ever fortunate enough to visit, be sure to go to Maxwell's Food Court, a huge food court filled with small Hawker stalls where you can pick up a flavor-full and mouth watering dish for an average price of $4. If you're after something a little more glamorous, there's an array of rooftop bars where you can sip champagne and overlook the city while the Marina Bay Sands puts on a light show in the background.
